Jet Powered VW Beetle
The car was built because the builder wanted the wildest street-legal ride possible. With this project, he was able to use his engineering skills to design the car without the distraction of how other people have done it in the past - because no one has. I've seen lots of other people put in jet engines on cars, bikes and what not. I guess this is the first street legal one since it has the original engine too.
