Officers and Staff members at Pakistan High Commission in India have decided to donate Rs 200,000/ in the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund, set up for the victims of devastating earthquake.

The decision was taken at a meeting held here today at the premises of the Commission. They condoled with the three staff members of the Commission Altaf, Gul Zaman and Iftikhar whose family members were killed as result of this natural catastrophe.

Twenty four family members of Altaf from Balakot, 18 family members of Gul Zaman from Bagh (AJK) and five members of Iftikhar’s family in Azad Jammu and Kashmir got perished in the aftermath of massive earthquake on October 8.

Pakistan High Commissioner to India Aziz Ahmad Khan and other officers expressed heartfelt sympathies with them on the tragic deaths of their family members.

They prayed Almighty Allah may rest the departed souls in eternal peace and give fortitude to the bereaved families whose members were killed in the natural disaster.
