Food for thought? 


Insects may be packed with protein, but would you really want to eat them? People in northern Thailand do! Giant water bugs served with chilli and sticky rice are seen as a tasty treat, and dung beetles are thought to add flavour to curry.

In Ghana, people catch edible frogs which can be made into a soup or roasted.

Australia is full of wildlife that can bite you and now Aussie chefs are biting back! They’ve been dishing up crocodile, kangaroo and emu steaks. You can even order shark – called flake – in Australian chip shops.
