£400 film in the frame for a prize at Cannes
A former office temp who never went to film school has had his film shortlisted for a prize at Cannes. Ben Crowe, 27, spent £400 making The Man who Met Himself, the story of a private detective investigating a mysterious suicide. His brother Daniel, 29, who has never appeared on screen before, stars in the film, which was shot in central London.
