£400 film in the frame for a prize at Cannes | |
A former office temp who never went to film school has had his film shortlisted for a prize at Cannes.
Ben Crowe, 27, spent £400 making The Man who Met Himself, the story of a private detective investigating a mysterious suicide. His brother Daniel, 29, who has never appeared on screen before, stars in the film, which was shot in central London. The Man Who Met Himself is the only British entry to be selected in the short film category at the annual film festival in France. | |
