It is learnt that sometime back Pappu fell in love with a girl. She belonged to a respectable family and was living in Alambagh area under Alambagh police station. Pappu apparently lied about his background and introduced himself as a builder from Gorukhpur.

The gangster started coming to Lucknow frequently and bought expensive gifts for his girlfriend. Pappu's idyllic romance however didn't last. Suspecting a police plot to kill him in an encounter, the mob boss thought it prudent to keep his distance.

Despite his resolve, Pappu was eventually forced to return to Lucknow by his girlfriend's insatiable appetite for sex. Having convinced her it wasn't immoral for an unmarried woman to have physical relations, he could not say no when she summoned him.
