tweeety!!!

Word has it that the first incarnation of Tweety was pink.

But the censors nixed pink (too 'nude' perhaps), and Tweety was reborn in canary yellow. An apt albeit obvious choice.

Tweety fans debate whether Tweety is a boy or a girl.

I propose that Tweety was conceived as a girl (hence the pink coloration), but when the censors gave a thumbs down to that color the artists chose yellow

Pink is for girls. Blue is for boys.

Yellow is the color you select when buying a baby gift for a fetus of undetermined sex. In other words, Tweety is androgynous. Tweety is asexual. Tweety is unequipped. Which explains why the censors permitted it to go about completely naked.

BOY?GIRL?
